Hi, I’m John from Legacy Dodge Claresholm. I’m here to show you this brand new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica LX. It’s a brand new model for the Pacifica.
As you can see it’s a wholly newly designed van. Takes you places in the town and country. This particular unit has the roof rack with Stow-N-Go at the top here. As you can see, with the back out of the way, which we’ve thrown them over, and you have your roof racks here.
This particular unit has what they call Passive Entry. You can just push your hand in the hand holder, and it’s unlocked. Same with the sliding doors. Opens up to a very honed redesigned new interior on these Pacifica models.
Moving around to the back here, this has the famous Chrysler Stow-N-Go seating in the third and the second row. Pole drops right down, and I pull this down right here. And it goes very easily onto the floor on these new ones. Before it was a 4 step process, now it’s only a 2 step process. Just to put it back up again. Same type of thing it’s back into place, and the headrest comes up.
In the second row– very easy access to the second row on this unit. Just a matter of pulling this lever up top and you can get into the third-row seat. To put it in the floor we can open up the Stow-N-Go area right here. One flip of the handle and this will drop right into the floor, doesn’t tumble anymore. Fits in right into the floor, and then, your cover goes off, the top locks in place right here. Then to get it back up again. Just a matter of pulling this seat right up and it’s back in place. Stow-N-Go. Nicely snaps into place. So, when you get it back in this position, it can seat seven passengers.
Under the hood on this one, we have a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6. It’s mated with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Very quiet 3rd generation V6. It gives outstanding fuel mileage.
These come with a very good information center. You navigate through here. Tells you about the vehicle, the trip information, the vehicle information, and the motor information.
Comes standard with the UConnect for your cell phone. Cruise control’s not here on the steering wheel. It had audio controls at the back of this thing. It’s standard. As you can see here, temperature control and everything is either on the touch screen, or you can control it from down here.
This has an automatic system called Stop-N-Go. You pull up to a light, the conditions are right, the motor would shut down, but you’ll have power there. And incidentally, as soon as you touch the throttle it instantly starts up, and away you go. You don’t have to use it; you can turn it off on the board right here.
Standard AM/FM radio, with Sirius Satellite Radio. As you can see, we have an auto dimmer; it’s standard on this. We have an auxiliary port outlet. And we have USB outlet for charging your phone. Plus a key power outlet that runs off 12V. And a very nice storage area down here for cup holders, and stuff in this area here. As you can see, there’s a nice big glove box here, plus a big glove box on the other side here.
