Hey guys, it’s Seth here from Legacy Dodge in Claresholm. Today we’re checking out this beautiful 2013 Ford F-150 XLT. So, under the hood of this F-150, it has a 3.5-liter V6 engine paired with an automatic transmission. It has a good amount of power and a good amount of torque if you’re needing control of medium or small-sized trailers and stuff like that.
So, on this truck we have some really nice, right here, Wrangler tires with a lot of tread life left on these. Over here, you’re going to have your password entry with the door. You can lock and unlock the door with a pass code. It even have chrome footsteps along the sides here, a plastic box liner protector in here to protect the box if you’re carrying anything. A chrome front and rear bumpers are also on this unit. This does have a longer, bigger back sides, which is great for carrying extra stuff. You have longer cargo you can carry. Back seats in this F-150, lots of room back here. Fords are known to have really large rear seating and the seat in here is no exception. Close seats and they will fold up to reveal even more space if you do need to carry anything extra in the truck. Back here, you do have a 12-volt power outlet if need be and some more storage on the back of the seats, power window, chrome handle. So, overall, very spacious, very nice back seat here.
Okay, at the driver’s side here of the F-150, here are your power windows and locks on the door here, power adjustable mirrors, and you also have child safety locks for the windows here as well. This driver seat has power adjustable forwards and backwards with manual lumbar adjustment and a manual recliner as well. Sitting in the driver seat here of the F-150, you have a nice, big digital display in your gauge cluster. You can get lots of information on the vehicle here, your transmission temperature, you can get a compass, trip information, your fuel economy. You can get instant fuel economy here, so, as you’re driving down the road, you can see exactly how much fuel you’re using and how long you have to go until your tank reaches empty.
Here you have some off-road information as well as trailer information if you’re trailer towing. Here in your settings, you can turn on or off your trailer settings, watch the different settings about the vehicle, head lamps and locks settings and much more. Coming out a bit here, you have your leather wrapped steering wheel, volume controls and Bluetooth controls, as well as cruise control here and the controls for your digital gauge cluster right here.
Over here, you have automatic headlights, which is really useful. You don’t have to worry about turning off your headlights when you exit the vehicle. Just put it in Auto Mode like this and it will automatically turn off or on depending on the conditions outside. Okay, so over to the right of the steering wheel, here’s where you’ll have your mode selector; Drive mode if you have 2-wheel drive high, a 4-wheel drive high and 4-wheel drive low.
Up here, you’re going to have your traction control button, and then, here you have a nice display. This will display all your radio information. This is Sirius satellite radio equipped. You just need to get the subscription and you’re good to go, a CD player and auxiliary port, of course, for iPods or iPhones. And then, of course, the Bluetooth screen here for your phone. And now, this isn’t a touch screen or anything like that, but it’s still very easy to use. All the buttons are readily available here. And now coming down here you have your volume knob, your tuner for your radio, hazard lights, passenger airbag button, controls for your CD and your climate control here, the fan speed, temperature and just the different modes here for the AC. We have two cup holders here and also two cup holders here for the rear passengers or they can use them if you have a few extra cups here for the frappe as well, easy and reach for the front passengers. There are nice deep storage compartment down here. And coming over here, you do have a 12-volt power outlet on the passenger side, and a glove box here; lots of storage space.
So, overall, it’s a really nice looking F-150. I should mention up here, it does have the sunroof and your sunroof controls are right up there.
