Hi, I’m John here from Legacy Dodge in Claresholm. I’m here to show you this beautiful 2017 Ram SLT Crew Cab 1500, Unit number D0323.
As you can see it’s in a beautiful Luxury Brown colour it’s called, It’s very very dark brown. You see, it is distinctive in the sun. This unit has an extra large fuel tank of 121 liters. It also has 392 axle ratios so you can pull a trailer up to 10,360 pounds. We’ve had the tube steps to this particular unit. Of course, as you can see we have the aluminium wheels. At the back here this unit has a class 4 receiver 4- and 7-pin wiring. It does have a back-up camera as you can see. These are Power locking tailgates, you just hit the lock button on the unit itself, and it’s locked.
This particular unit has a 5’7’’ box, and it is a Crew Cab. Moving inside the unit as I have mentioned before it is a Crew Cab so very comfortable seating. In the rear of this unit it has a 60/40 split bench seat in the rear Plus, it has a flat loading floor that comes out from underneath the seat So, you can have 1 seat up or both seats up, and you can have lots of room when you put this flat loading floor down, and you put luggage on here or groceries or parts or whatever you’re needing. Also, as far as storage goes in this particular unit we have these built-in coolers in the floor on both sides both passenger and driver side They do come out, and you can put ice in there for throwing refreshments in there or sandwiches for the day on your trips.
Moving to the interior of this unit this one has a Power seat on the driver side. As you can see it’s a 40/20/40 split bench seat so you can seat 3 people in the front of this comfortably. I’m just flipping up the center seat. This particular unit has of course. Power mirrors that are heated. It has one touch auto up and down both on the passenger door and the driver front door. It has automatic headlights, Of course, that’s a cargo lamp on this side.
Okay, we’ll move inside the vehicle and go through some of the options in there. Now, okay, this particular unit has a very nice information center in it here As you can see here, we can navigate right here on the steering wheel We can go into a speedometer setting, and you can change it to miles per hour if you happen to be traveling in the US where there are miles per hour It also has vehicle information center here. We go in there we can scroll through and take a look at tire pressures then we can take a look at idling hours and driving hours. There is a summary page in here plus it has battery voltage it has oil life monitor on it also your oil pressure, your oil temperature, transmission temperature and then, back to the tire pressure unit. You can also run a fuel economy screen here that tells you your distance to empty the fuel you’re using as you are driving in average liters per 100 kilometers also on there. Moving back out of there it also has A Trip and B Trip of course and then if there’s any messages like oil changes and stuff you can access it through the screen here. It has a screen set-up where you can set-up what you want inside these 4 corners of the screen, And you can also turn this menu off here at this point in time.
This unit also has a 5.7 HEMI V8 it with an 8-speed automatic transmission and that transmission can be switched gears up and down right here on the steering wheel. It also has a tow haul mode for when you’re pulling a trailer The other thing down here while we’re looking is Electronic Stability Program. What that does for understeer and oversteer, it quickly feathers the brakes to bring it back on your intended course. Moving into the center stack, it has a Power sliding rear window in it As you can see up here and it also has we’re moving back down here the radio system has AM/FM and Sirius Satellite radio which is good for one year from date of purchase. The other thing in here there’s a setting screen. You can personally set-up the vehicle the way you would like through various areas like voice, date and clock and safety and assistance the lights, the doors engine off options and compass settings and you can restore the settings back to normal.
It also has your climate control down here which is all very handy and nice size knobs to grab ahold of. As we are moving over here, this is your shifter for your 8-speed automatic, and of course, this is a 4×4 so you can push button 4 Lock. It’s in 2-wheel drive now as you can see and you can also get into 4 Low position. A few other things on this center stack it has an 115-volt outlet It also has a USB port for charging your phones right here. It also has a 12-volt outlet here that runs off the key. ]
Moving to the center this 20% part of the seat we have a nice storage area underneath the center seat for you as you can see. And if we flip this down and open it up, there’s a bit of a media center in here that has a USB port and auxiliary port and 12-volt outlet that runs off the battery Moving back here, there’s another storage area here a little bin up in the front and it has double glove boxes as you can see in the front and center there.
