Hi, I’m John here at Legacy Dodge Claresholm. I’m here to show you this brand new 2016 Dodge Journey R/T, all-wheel drive unit. Unit no. is D0295. It lists at $39,350.
The R/T being an all-wheel drive, it has the standard passive entry. Just put your hands on the lock there, and it unlocks. You can also lock it via the passive entry here.
You’ll notice going down the side, we also have the aluminium wheels down here, very nice fit. This is in a very nice colour called Tri-white colour.
This particular unit also has backup sensors across the back. And the chrome tips on the exhaust. The passive entry continues back here. Just a push of the button unlocks the back hatch. And away you go.
Inside, also up here, you can notice on the back hatch, this one is equipped with a backup camera. This particular unit has a DVD system. It also has the third-row seats. It folds right into the floor here. And then we have a bit of storage area back in this area, right down here. These seats will fold and tumble, so you have easy access to the third row by just holding this top lever up here and flipping it forward. Put them back into place. It’s got adjustable seats back and forth, in this rear area. Plus there is a full flat option too.
Of course, if you need room for longer cargo whenever you’re hauling, you can lay the seats down. Either one, or both, so you got lots of room for both the passengers and cargo.
As you’ll notice in the back here, we have a 115V outlet. Also, a 12V outlet that’s powered off the battery. And as I mentioned before, this unit has a DVD. Here’s your DVD screen. And you also have gaming jacks if the kids want to use the game. They can plug it right into the DVD player and play it through there.
This unit also has rear heating area with the controls back here. And vents in the second and third rows. Plus of course, we got heat in the front. This unit has automatic headlights. So you put them on that particular setting, and it comes up at night when it’s dark enough to do so. Makes it for– you don’t have to turn your lights on. It automatically does that.
As you’ll notice, on the back of the steering wheel, we have audio controls on the back. And then, we have our wipers and signal lights. The combination is right on this lever on this side. This unit also has UConnect for your cell phone. And it does have an Information Center which we’ll show you right now.
Passive entry. This unit also comes with a push button start. So put your foot on the brake and just give it a push. Your Information Center is in the center stack here. Go back out of here; you have fuel economy. It shows you there, and you go back, you drop down, you can have digital vehicle speed here. It can also be changed to miles/hr if you’re happening to be travelling in the States, by just a push of the button.
We also have trip information, of course, here. A and B trip is on the same ledger here. So you can keep track of your trips, as such.
Get back out of here; we also have all your tire KPAs, right in here. You can check each tire pressures. The vehicle information, the coolant oil temp, oil pressure, transmission temp, engine hours, all in that particular situation.
We get back out of there. We also have messages, just going to tell you when it’s ready for an oil change. Any other messages that may come up will come up in this area here. So that’s the Information Center which is very handy, on the steering wheel here.
Moving into the center stack here, we have, this particular one is an 8.4″ touch UConnect. It’s got navigation, as you can see here. Nav view, so we do have Nav in here. The other thing this unit has in this 8.4″ touchscreen here, with Nav, Sirius Satellite for a year. AM/FM radio, of course.
It has a Media Center here which shows you this down here. It’s where you put it in for your DVD player. At the back, there’s also a slot for a SD card reader, at this point. And if we go inside here we have a USB port which you can charge your cell phone on, and also, an auxiliary port which you can plug an iPod in. And run it through the sound system.
It also has another 12V outlet that runs off the battery here. Right down in the center stack, so you got nice storage there. Moving across the controls, this particular unit has heated seats and heated steering wheel. And this is where you turn your power outlet on in the back, and in the control section. Individual climate for passenger, and driver.
This is where you put your cell phones in. You can put in 6 to 7 in here at this point. And if you go into settings here you can you can set it up for your personal settings here.
The overhead here has the conversation mirror. You can chat with the kids in the back, or if you’re hauling some passengers around, you can have a conversation with them.
It also has LED lights here. They are adjustable on both sides. This particular unit is also equipped with the universal garage door opener. It’s very well equipped, and a very nice unit with leather heated seats.
This Dodge Journey R-T comes with a 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine. Very good power, very good fuel economy. And it’s been teamed up with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
